Outer Banks Fishing Repor June 18, 2011

Surf Fishing Report:
The water has muddied and turn chilly with SW winds. The U. S. Army corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck reported 55 degrees this morning. Not quite that cold at this end of the beach.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Spot and Black Drum. The Oregon Inlet catwalk are catching nice Sheepshead.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Croaker and Trout.
Jennette’s: Croaker.
Outer Banks: Croakers and Spot.

Inshore Boats Report: Nearshore boats and Open boats caught Albacore, Amberjack, plenty of Bluefish and Spanish. Head boats are decking Croakers and Flounder.

Offshore Boats Report: Most boats caught their limits of Dolphin on Friday. There were also Yellowfin Tuna and Scattered Wahoo. Fair Blue and White Marlin fishing. There are plenty of Triggers for bottom fisherman.
