Fishing Report May 16, 2012

Surf Fishing Report:
Wind is SW at 8. Water temp is 57 degrees. We have muddy water.
A few bottom fish. I would try for Sea Mullet.
The water temp is dropping. If the SW winds stick around, it will drop a little more. It is a good Sea Mullet day because the water is murky. You can catch Sea Mullet with shrimp, bloodworms and simulated bait on a bottom rig. Sea Mullet have several names. They are also called Roundheads, Whiting and Kingfish. Depending on what state you live in.
